TheBloggyLama So lets start off with. Whats your NT name?
Jynx its Hi Jynx.
TheBloggyLama Where did you get your name from?
Jynx It's a play on the word hijinks. by definition it means "loud, boisterous merry making" thats the type of feel and atmosphere I would expect my music to convey. It fits my style to the T.

TheBloggyLama How often do you visit NT?
Jynx Everyday I'm mostly in general and music used to be in Jordan Brand forum before the countdown packs dropped.

TheBloggyLama: Weren't we all? How long have you been on NT?
Jynx Since 2006, I believe came to find more information about the diamond dunks. Been there ever since.

Jynx I'm 23 years old
TheBloggyLama I know you rap but people want to know What do you do?
Jynx I'm a part time student. education comes first.
TheBloggyLama Where you from? And Live?
Jynx I'm from New York City. Southside Jamaica Queens.

TheBloggyLama What are you going to school for?
Jynx Business management. It interests me to know how to run a business and handle my own money. Especially since selling music is a business.

TheBloggyLama I can def agree with that. Who/what inspires you?
Jynx Its not really what inspires me now a days. Generically I'm inspired by bringing people together through music and escapism but unconventionally I'm inspired by everything that isn't a formal means of inspiration I get inspired by the way people leave their messy kitchen dining tables... the way old people look while taking public transportation things like that, thats where the spark of creativity lies. when you try to make something out of sheer nothingness.

TheBloggyLama How long you been doing the music thing?
Jynx I've been recording songs for about 4-5 years now. Over all interested in rapping for about 12 years.
TheBloggyLama Who you think is the best rapper out? (yourself doesn't count)
Jynx Right now I have a lot of respect for the boy Jay Electronica.

TheBloggyLama How many mixtapes have you put out?
Jynx I've put out Hi-Jynx Presents: Music Monday back in November 2009. Before that I released a free mixtape in 2008 but later deleted all links for it. To answer your question, two, but only one has been fully marketed.
TheBloggyLama: Why you decide to do that?
Jynx The mixtape was being called an album by a lot of people who downloaded it. I saw that as an opportunity to go back and rework the records on it to a higher level of perfection. Those that still have it respect me and still keep up with my ethic and those that have only heard whispers about it are interested in its content.
TheBloggyLama Well thats a good reason, the quality of work must be good.

TheBloggyLama So if Jay Electronica is the best rapper. Who's the baddest bitch? (not talkin rap)
Jynx Well the baddest woman right now has to be Amber Rose she really has found a way to stand out an utilize her assets..or Kanye whichever comes first.
TheBloggyLama: She the baddest in your opinion now? Cuz everybody hypeing that bitch up!
Jynx Hype is what makes people now adays. I call it like I see it. Let her release an Amber Rose "rose red" color way of the yeezys and the world would explode. Haha.

TheBloggyLama True. So are you signed or what?
Jynx No I'm not signed, the only papers I have signed are for a ringtone situation. As for being signed to a record label, I think I'll wait.
TheBloggyLam What you waiting for?
Jynx: I'm actually just waiting on a situation. I havent seen anything that puts me in any power. And by power I mean power to make the music that would be the best representation of me.
TheBloggyLama Feel you. When I listened to the latest NT mixtape you are one that stood out the most lyrically.
Jynx I pride myself on my lyrical ability and choice of wordplay as well as content. Thank you for the compliment.

TheBloggyLama Who are a few people you'd like to work with in the near future?
Jynx In the near future I'd like to work with Diplo, more with Jaguar Skills, Boi 1da, and 9th Wonder.

Jynx Dom Kennedy and Wale. Respectively.
Jynx Shout out to GoD Jewels and The Boy Illinois I've worked with Sais and the two aforementioned. As well as J Diction and Mr Jefferson. On the production side Plan the producer has some great production, I would like to feature on as well as Keen-Y. Jynx As of right now the only producer I've worked with from NT is Half Amazin.
